Part of me really hopes that people will notice that thing that announces your friends' birthdays on Facebook when you first login and I will receive a slew of happy birthday comments.

I noticed! but i am never sure if that thing is accurate.
i used to change my birthday on my facebook profile just to see who would [mindlessly] wish me their warmest birthday wishes.
one friend [but not super close one], Annie - she wished me happy birthday EVERY month for like six months.
